Can I enter Sportpool from my mobile phone?
Yes, you can indeed. Currently it is only setup for certain functions we are looking to extend these in the near future. You MUST add your mobile phone number to your account before you can use these facilities.
Below are the options you can do via SMS:-
Sport Lucky to 60777 - This will enter a lucky dip into our SportSIX competition on your behalf and send a confirmation text directly to your mobile, complete with your new balance.
Sport Lucky 2 to 60777 - This will enter 2 lucky dips into our SportSIX competition on your behalf and again you will receive a reply to confirm your entry.
Sport Lucky BG to 60777 - This will enter a lucky dip making use of any bonus games you already have available within your online account.
Sport Bal to 60777 - This will check your Sportpool account balance and you will receive a text back to inform you of the amount you have available.

Can I setup an automatic entry
Yes, we have a system whereby players can 'enable' an automatic predictor on their account. What this means is that every week, funds permitting, the site will generate six predictions for you, allowing you to get on with your weekend and still be in with a chance of scooping the jackpot!
Of course, if you want to, you can enter your own whenever you feel like it and this will disable the automatic predictor for that week. The system will not enter your predictions until an hour before the competition starts, therefore giving you plenty of time to get your entries in. In fact, from Tuesday when the questions are revealed right through until Saturday before the competition begins.
If you combine an automatic subscription with the automatic entry you will NEVER miss out on a SportSIX...and your nominated good cause WILL receive a donation EVERY week!

How do I get my bonus games?
If you qualify for bonus games these will be credited to your account after you have made your initial deposit (min £10) and played at least one game. For the first £1 game you play you will be awarded one additional bonus game. Remember these bonus games are NOT eligible for the four or five pools or entry into the monthly league table. They are only entries into the £1,000 jackpot pool.

So is Sportpool a bit like the lottery?
Yes and No. Yes, participants can potentially win big sums for a small stake. No, the lottery is a complete game of luck whereby you can increase your chances of winning the SportSIX by using YOUR judgement. The chances of winning SportSIX are much better and potentially your £1 entry fee could span the entire weekend providing even greater value for money.

What is Pool Betting?
Pool betting involves pooling the stakes of the participants, deducting a proportion of the stakes to cover duty, expenses and operator profit and dividing what's left between the winners. There are no odds involved, payouts are determined by the size of the win pool divided by the number of winning entries.

Can I win any money?
Yes, you can win money with Sportoool. Sportpool offer a guaranteed weekly £1,000 Jackpot prize pool and cash prizes for getting four or five correct predictions. Sportpool is mainly about fun and raising funds for good causes while watching live sporting events.

Does that mean Sportpool know my credit card details?
NO, the Sportpool website simply redirects you to Moneybookers who will do all the financial transactions. Then Moneybookers tells the Sportpool system if the transaction has been successful or not and your account balance with Sportpool is updated accordingly.

How do I deposit funds?
Depositing funds with Sportpool is easy with our Moneybookers link. You don't have to have a Moneybookers account. Any credit or debit card will work. Simply follow the instructions on the deposit screen and Moneybookers will do everything for you. Please note the minimum deposit is £10.

How do I know you are not cheating by changing answers after the event?
To prevent cheating, once the competition has started ALL entries are available to view at any time by any players. This adds more excitement as you know how many entries are still in the jackpot at any time over the weekend.

How do I withdraw funds?
You can withdraw any funds you hold with Sportpool seven days a week 24hrs a day. Either, immediately to your Moneybookers account or you can request a cheque to be sent in the post next day. If you wish to provide us with your account details we can also perform an electronic transfer from our account.

Pools FAQs
How are the prize pools calculated?
50% of stakes (£0.50) is allocated to the prize pool fund.
- 50% (25p) is allocated to the Jackpot pool.
- 30% (15p) is allocated to the five correct pool.
- 20% (10p) is allocated to the four correct pool.
Prize Pools:
Each week Sportpool guarantees a minimum Jackpot prize pool of £1,000. The jackpot pool will increase once there is sufficient entries to financially cover the guaranteed minimum.
The £1,000 minimum jackpot may change in the future at Sportpool's discretion.
Four correct pool is calculated as (total rollover + this weeks paid for entries) * 20%.
Five correct pool is calculated as (total rollover + this weeks paid for entries) * 30%.
Jackpot pool is calculated as (total rollover + this weeks paid for entries) * 50% or the guranteed Jackpot (£1,000) if not enough entries.

Will the Jackpot ever grow above £1,000?
We certainly hope so but it will not increase until we have enough entries into the competition to allow it to grow. Currently 50% (£0.50) of stake is allocated to the prize pools. 50% of that amount (25p) is allocated to the Jackpot pool.
Therefore, in order for the SportSIX Jackpot pool to increase we would need to have 40,000 entries (40,000 x 25p = £1,000.00).

What is SportSIX trust?
The SportSIX trust is our own good cause. Your funds will accumulate in this area until we have a sufficient amount to support an individual good cause. We will then "poll" our members on how they would like us to use these funds.
